There are many more and at just over a dollar direct audio download, they are well worth a listen. Started in 1999, Big Finish has released adventures from the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Doctors. These stories have fit into the chronology of the program’s history while introducing new companions and monsters. In 2000, Paul McGann joined and later Tom Baker also partnered in with his fellow Doctors bringing the Doctors to five! But they didn’t stop there and brought in David Tennant to record a few stories. Tim Treloar has revived the Third Doctor and Frazer Hines has voiced the Second while Peter Purves performs a knockout William Hartnell (The First Doctor). Even John Hurt revived the War Doctor (also on sale) in a series of box sets.

This means that all of the classic Doctors and some of the new series Doctors (no Thirteenth yet) are represented.

The stories are written by some of the best in the business and the soundscapes are breathtaking. If you have not heard a Big Finish story and are a Doctor Who fan, this is your chance to expand your world and jump in.
