Concept art for Star Wars Episode VII leaked

istar-wars-episode-vii-logo Set thirty years after the events of Return of the Jedi that saw the demise of the Empire, Episode VII could be the most hotly anticipated sequel since Son of the Mask (possibly moreso). Rather than giving fans Darth Vader as precocious kid, this time the tried and true classics of Luke, Han and Leia are coming back along with some new characters. Early production footage has established that practical special effects will be used rather than a reliance on green screens, which makes my inner 5 year-old very happy. What’s even cooler are these leaked pieces of concept art depicting a universe haunted by the dark Empire and its fallen lord.

Rumors favor that Luke Skywalker will be the main villain in this new trilogy, but like much of the information floating around, this has yet to be confirmed. 1. I don’t know if I like S7ar Wars… I hate when numb3rs become l377er5!

Meanwhile… I’m torn on Luke as a bad guy. I don’t like the idea of Luke going dark (I know there are already stories along this line)… but Mark Hamill would really be good at that, so I would love to see him act that out on screen!
