Apparently CW has not learned from their mistakes.
After the dreadful Birds of Prey, the production team has their eyes set on another Batman property (though still not centered on the dark knight himself), this time with Dick Grayson, the Boy Wonder called Robin. Before you get even slightly excited, the series will center on Grayson’s life BEFORE he teamed up with Batman.
Oh, and he’s named ‘DJ’ instead of the comic book character’s name, Dick.
Titled ‘The Graysons,’ this latest comic book paycheck is still in production.
Remember, for every Dark Knight there is a Catwoman… and for every Smallville there is a Birds of Prey.
It’s a shame that this series will more likely than not fail because Robin is such a great character. Even though he was originally invented as a side-kick character, Robin has since fully developed into his own characters (even the current Tim Drake Robin is lots of fun).
