Batman: Gotham Knight preview

Finally we get a good long look at the upcoming direct-to-DVD release of Batman: Gotham Knight. The new animated project is unusual for DC Comics Animation Studios as it takes place between Batman Begins and the highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight. It is also an entirely new vision of Batman seen with an Anime slant. Produced by the Emmy Award winning team behind Batman The Animated Series, this cartoon film is another chapter in Batman’s animated story.
The Gotham Knight features the writing talent of Greg Rucka (White-Out, Wonder Woman, Gotham Central), David Goyer (Blade, JSA), Brian Azzarello (100 Bullets), Alan Burnett (Batman The Animated Series, The Batman and Justice League) Josh Olson and Jordan Goldberg. Batman’s latest animated adventure is an anthology mystery taking place in six parts featuring Killer Croc, the Scarecrow, Deadshot and possibly Man-Bat.
The Batman: Gotham Knight DVD has a July 2008 release date to coincide with The Dark Knight.
